Impact

Kill Kancer doesn’t just talk, we act. Kill Kancer provides funding for community projects, health improvement events and medical research in the Twin Cities. We will kill cancer before it kills us.

For a Better Now

Through killkancer.org we provide facts and proven prevention tips to reduce your risk of cancer by 90 percent. Kill Kancer’s community page provides a platform for you to share how you’ve been affected by cancer or how you plan to kill it. For a better now, check out our events page to find out where you can have fun and get healthy, while killing cancer.

Together We're Unstoppable

Through our partnership with Gardening Matters, Kill Kancer sponsored 16 community gardens, distributed 1,200 bedding plants and 650 seed packets. The 2014 scholarship recipients were Project Sweet Pie and Center for Asian and Pacific Islanders. By joining with these great organizations, Kill Kancer is able to foster a community focused on getting ahead of cancer by providing nutritious, locally grown food.

Kill Kancer provides financial support to Full Cycle, a Minneapolis nonprofit bike shop that offers internship opportunities for homeless and street dependent youth. The 2014 scholarship funded the Full Cycle Food Delivery Program, staffed by internship graduates who deliver nutritious food via bike to local food shelves.

The Wheel of Misfortune, Kill Kancer’s risk reduction initiative, travels to local music and art festivals and illustrates how you can reduce your risk of cancer by 90 percent. This fun and engaging tool informs and empowers its participants.

For a Better Future

Kill Kancer provides funding to these organizations:
Strip E.M., The Karl Fund, supports research in early detection and non-invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of esophageal cancer.

Project Stealth is a program dedicated to developing modified salmonella as a safe and effective method of delivery for cancer-fighting drugs to tumors, without the side effects that come with chemo.
